Product Testimonials:

Captain John A. Montanio, Previously Deputy Director of the Los Angeles Interagency Metropolitan Police Apprehension Crime Taskforce (LA IMPACT)

“While I was assigned to the taskforce, I personally used the short-range unit on two occasions. During the first incident I was able to locate, in a matter of minutes, the general area in which the suspect had secreted himself. During the second incident, the LA County Sheriffs Department, Special Weapons Team called me to a location of a barricaded suspect/hostage situation. I … told them I was getting detections in the center of the house. I told them I was also getting a detection in the North/East bedroom but that it did not make sense to me because a hostage taker would not separate the hostages. When the suspect surrendered, it was confirmed that all of the hostages and suspect were in the center of the house because that is where the telephone was located. All accept one; a child was allowed to go to sleep in the North/East bedroom.”

Anthony E. Daniels, Chief Executive Officer of MDB International, LLC (MDBI), a security consulting and investigative firm located in Alexandria, Virginia

I am the Chief Executive Officer of MDB International, LLC (MDBI), a security consulting and investigative firm. My prior experience includes over twenty-seven years of service with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) where I served as an Assistant Director. I… have had several occasions to observe numerous demonstrations and tests of its capabilities…. … in June 1998, our company was charged with coordinating the overall security for the World Congress on Information Technology which was held at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. This conference was very high profile and was attended by Margaret Thatcher of Great Britain, Mikhail Gorbachov of Russia, as well as numerous high-ranking government and business executives from all over the world. One building used as the main location for the conference was swept utilizing the DKL LifeGuard after it was declared vacant by law enforcement officials, and three individuals were located on an upper floor of the building.

Although it was subsequently determine these individuals posed no threat, it was apparent to us that the technology, when utilized for the purpose of identifying the presence of people, did, in fact, work.

Mitsuhiro Mano, Chief Secretary, Japan Rescue Association

We are writing this letter to prove the excellent ability of LifeGuard to search the sign of living human under the destructed buildings at the supposed site of earthquake struck area. We hope that this letter is to assure LifeGuard's advantage and it should be used at natural disaster for the people in need of help.

Anthony M. Wilson, DEA, Assistant Special Agent in Charge (Retired)

This letter will serve as my recollection of the events surrounding the successful utilization of the DKL LifeGuard detection device by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

I believe the successful use of the DKL LifeGuard greatly enhanced both operations. In the first case, by determining the approximate location of the suspect, the agents were able to avoid a potential armed confrontation. In the second case, by determining that the suspect was not at home, the agents avoided compromising their investigation by not entering at that time and possibly alerting the suspect to their presence and intent.
